I went on the Dinner Cruise La Marina with a group of about fifteen people. What a great and wonderful evening! The dining area is full of windows to be able to take in the views of Paris. From where I was seated I took in all the majestic views of the most famous bridges and monuments in Paris. Since I had dinner in the evening I had the benefit of seeing the city illuminated! During the cruise we were served wine and it really just made for a beautiful evening. Everyone that waited on our party were very professional and the evening just had a very peaceful setting. If you want to treat your spouse this might be the best tour for you! This cruise made for an evening that was romantic, peaceful, and memorable!
My friend and I joined the group tour visiting Mont Saint Micheal. We departed from Paris with a luxury air conditioned bus. What a wonderful journey we had! Just to admire the country side of France was breathtaking in itself. Mont Saint Michael is one of the most unique and iconic sights in the country. Mont Saint Micheal is a stunning medieval abbey that is built on a rocky island. This castle was built during the middle ages and has fascinating architecture dating back to the 8th century and is dedicated to Micheal the Arc Angel. During your free time you can enjoy and make the most of it by walking around and visiting the local shops at the base of the castle. Here you can get souvenirs and choose from many wonderful restaurants! When you go up the steps of the castle the view gets better along the way. At the top you can see out into the Atlantic Ocean and really appreciate all the work that it must have taken to build such a massive castle. This is an amazing tour that you will never forget. The history of how the castle was built is really interesting and to be able to climb to the top of the castle and navigate through the different rooms was really memorable. On your way home don’t forget to take a picture with Mont Saint Micheal in the back ground. When you are shopping for souvenirs you will also see a variety of local products from the Normandy region. This is where the crepe first became popular. Don’t miss the chance to taste a crepe with your favorite toppings along with a cold cider. The good thing with this tour is everything is included. Entrance tickets, lunch, drinks, along with the guided tour in a luxury air conditioned bus. If you want to experience as I did, go and discover, you will have a great memories from this excursion! It was wonderful to visit the city of Bruges in the Flemish region of Belgium. Bruges is also known as The Venice of the North! I enjoyed myself and found the city to be memorable. While I was there I learned of the rich history of this area that I had not previously known. Bruges is a very small town that has much diversity. This city is loaded with history from the middle ages. Beautiful structures and medieval architecture are fascinating. During the summer time the tour included a boat ride through the canals that was very peaceful way of seeing the city. The cathedrals are beautiful and some of them reach as high as 122 meters. The one that stood out to me was made of red brick tower! When you go ensure that you take time to see the cathedrals they are just amazing! I visited the Bourg Square (Beguinage) and the Convent where nun’s whom are devoted to serving the church stay was very beautiful also. After your fulfilling day touring Bruges don’t forget to buy some of Bruges specialties such as handmade lace or chocolates. Also there is place where you can see or buy the home made beer and there is a vast selection. There are many more souvenirs of course. Bruges is also famous for being the home of the original Belgian Waffle! Many restaurants are also available at your choice. I encourage you to try Mussels with French fries! That is their specialty! Go and enjoy! It is a really great experience and a wonderful day tour in the country of Belgium! I am always thankful that I took a day trip to the home and work place of the famous artist Claude Monet! Giverny is located just fifty miles outside of Paris and makes for a delightful break from city. When I visited Giverny I was impressed with how well the staff take care of the gardens. Just to walk the grounds where Claude Monet did his famous paintings was refreshing and memorable. You can take the tour guided or just walk the grounds on your own. Just down the road from Monet’s property is a small village where you can stop and have a glass of wine or if you are like me you will treat yourself to a crape. The restaurant is family owned and they serve wonderful crapes. You will not find a McDonald’s in this part of France as the local population of Giverny is about five hundred. This day trip gives a nice break from the city life. So take time to see the home of one of the world’s most famous artist’s. A day tour from Paris to London via Eurostar train. In two hours and ten minutes you are in the capital of England. London is one of the most cosmopolitan exciting cities in the world. I visited London many times, even though I have been there many times I always want to return. I love the British atmosphere and their sense of humor. I took a tour and visited all around the city. There are many pubs everywhere from St Pancras station throughout the capital. I took the bus tour on a double decker bus through the heart of London and was able to visit Buckingham Palace, we then drove by St James Park, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben Tower Bridge, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and of course the most well-known St Paul’s Cathedral. London is a great place to go for shopping and with surprisingly affordable prices. One of my favorite areas in all of London is Piccadilly Circus. It’s always a landmark for me as a meeting place. There are so many nice places to see. After your long tour take time to sit down and have a break while enjoying a cold fresh pint of beer. There is a huge selection that includes Guinness. If you are thinking about going to Europe make a list that includes a bus tour of London as one of your destinations. You will love it! Guarantee you will enjoy! The most fascinating and unforgettable tours I ever had in my life. The tours of Israel are so many! I brought a small group of people with me to visit the Holy Land. Words are not enough to express how much I felt on that day. Our eight days of discovery were so very impressive and remarkable. We discovered the places where Jesus had been and carried the cross. It is amazing to think that Christ had been here over 2000 years ago. The City of David. last supper. wall of lamentation the tomb of Jesus. Jericho. Masada Dead Sea. and all the churches in the surrounding area are wonderful to see in person. In Tel Aviv we had a great fun on the beach. while having a chance to relax. In Nineveh there is a place were Jonah was swallowed by the fish. Israel has a lot of things to offer and discover. I promise you when you go back home you will never feel the same. This is something that you will never forget. If you have a chance go and discover Israel! Experience the beauty of the Holy Land. You been there, or never been yet, may be you're planning to go, you can't say you were there if you have yet to visit. There are so many wonderful tours to take within the city of Paris! You can spend the day visiting the Louvre Museum and while you are there you can see the original painting of the Mona Lisa! You can spend the afternoon climbing the stairs at the Eifel Tower or if you'd like you can take the elevator! When you finish at the Eifel Tower you can take the boat cruise up the Seine River through the heart of Paris! How about spending the afternoon visiting Notre Dame? There are so many places to see in the City of Light! Also known as the City of Love! Don't forget the opportunity to sit and have breakfast or lunch at a Parisian Café Bistro, you can have your coffee with pain au chocolat croissant while taking in the Parisian atmosphere. Paris is one of the most famous cities in the world. So make time to visit the most beautiful city in the world! My friend and I took a day trip to New York City and enjoyed our time visiting sights throughout the city while riding in a double decker bus. We were able to take the tours in different ways to see many wonderful sights including the 9/11 Memorial Museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, the George Washington Bridge, Wall Street, Chinatown and Little Italy. This is the wonderful part of going on a bus tour, you can see several wonderful sights with ease. We also went through Time Square! So take time to treat yourself to seeing New York City. If you don’t like walking, just ride on the bus and explore the city, don’t miss this tour, you will love it!!! My favorite tour in all of Europe was to visit the beaches of Normandy! I was with a group of eight friends whom had a tour guide drive us in her minivan leaving from Paris. The tour was breathtaking. The tour guide had a wealth of knowledge and I learned many things about WWII that I had not previously known. It was an honor to walk the beaches of Normandy and have a deeper appreciation for all the young soldiers whom made this journey during WWII, many of whom gave their life. The beaches are easily accessible and gift shops are within walking distance so you can get any souvenirs you need to take home. Other great parts of this tour are the close proximity of the American Cemetery as well as the museum. Out of all the tours to take in Europe I would consider the visiting the beaches of Normandy to be superior to all others at least from an American’s perspective! If you are going to France make sure to take time to visit Normandy! |
